So my wife just picked up my son ((5th grade) from our high school’s “Think Big” Dance Marathon, which is a year long culmination of a fundraiser for pediatric cancer (based off of Thon) in which they raised OVER $42,000 !!!
This is very small high school with an average graduating class of about 125 for some additional perspective.
My daughter (Frosh at PSU) was one of the student-leaders of Think Big for three years when she was in HS.
The girl who started it lost her Mom to cancer in high school and the first year the did it they called it Mini-Thon.
I just told him I am so proud of him!!!!
Yea, we lost a football game today but sometimes we need to be reminded that it is just that.......a football game.
In the end we are about so much more than that though and we need to remember .... WE STILL ARE AND ALWAYS WILL BE .........PENN STATE !!!
