1) Trailing by 5 points, Purdue scores on a long run in the 4th Quarter and suddenly can't go for 2 on the extra point to give themselves a 3 point lead because their RB decided to roll around in the Endzone and act as if he is the only person to ever score a TD. Purdue has to go for 1 instead, they make it for a 19 - 17 lead, then eventually lose the game by ONE point on a game ending FG. Incredibly stupid and selfish display by the RB, and don't bother telling me that "He was just excited and was celebrating." He KNOWS the rules, and decided to break the Excessive Celebration rule anyway, and his selfishness might have cost his team the game as it turned out.
2) Facing a 3rd and about 30 with under a minute to go and trailing Nebraska, Colorado's QB fires a pass WAY over his WRs head. SO...the Nebraska DB BLASTS the defenseless WR after the ball had hit the ground 10 yards past him, and the DB gets flagged for a 15 yarder AND automatic First Down. The next play Colorado runs that Slot Fade which is the Pass Play Du Jour vs Man Coverage in College ball lately. BINGO...TD Colorado, and Nebraska loses JUST because their DB took a cheapshot at the defenseless WR. Another INCREDIBLY stupid and selfish play...and right in the MIDDLE of the field for all to see.
