Why would we want to get him on the edge (say, for example, on a pitchout when he’s already running near full speed) and isolated on a smaller man; WAY better to hand it to him standing absolutely still five yards behind the line of scrimmage, inside the tackles, going up against 9 men (possibly 5 of them being blocked). Haven’t you been paying attention?

The first two handoffs to Sanders to start the game were in space....I think they feel Barkley can make things happen between the tackles. I'm not sure why they won't get away from that since it's not working.

Most of the BIG schools play tough like that. Playing with DEs the size of LBs is a problem

Finessing our way into the playoff isn't what our program needs. Our LBers are a liability against any team with a pulse and any of the three teams we could have made the playoffs vs would exploit this.

Great teams find ways to win. We are good, but our identity seems a bit blurry now. Barkley can't even finish a half with positive rushing yards, but Sanders has 18 on 2 carries?

Watching NEB, their defense looks like swiss cheese. If PSU can get their heads out of their rear ends they should be able to beat up on NEB next week. NEB does have a decent pass attack...sometimes.
