Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. I'm internet challenged and not very technical. Is there anyway to change my account name that I post with? I didn't put much thought into my screen name (Greengrappler) when I set up the account. I'm a life long wrestling fan and PSU alum (class of 75), but I haven't wrestled since Junior High school, so I'm thinking Greengrappler is a pretty stupid screen name. If I can't change it, can I delete this account and start a new one? I've been reading the board for 3 years, but have less than 20 posts, so no big deal if I lose my history.

Id be interested as well. I tried about a year ago thru rivals but if I recall, I would have had to make a new loan and lose all my posts. If you only have 14, you should probably just start a new one

It's not easy, in that you can't do it yourself, and you can't call a support person and get it done, but if you have a little patience, it can be accomplished.

1. scroll down to the bottom of the message board
2. click on "Member Services"
3. Below the header "I want to make changes/cancel my subscription" click on "Rivals.com Help Form"
4. Click on "Contact a Yahoo specialist"
5. Click on "Password and sign in"
6. Click on "Change username"
7. Click on "Email a Yahoo specialist" (it's near the bottom)
8. Fill out the form, telling them you want to change your username

I believe you'll go through an e-mail exchange, and after a few messages you should be able to get your handle modified.

It's my understanding that there isn't much support performed by Rivals/Yahoo on the weekends, and I don't think they do much in terms of support in the evening hours. So depending on when you complete the above steps, there may be a lag before they get back to you.

Good luck with the process. And pick your new handle carefully. I believe you can only change a handle once a year.

Thanks Tom

Sounds like it would easier to change your legal name than your rival username.

Yikes! I'm pretty sure my wife had an easier time changing her last name when we got married. :)

And fortunately for me she hasn't needed to change it a second time. ;)

The most difficult thing about my wife changing her name was when we went to apply for the marriage license. The sweet little lady behind the counter didn't know what to think when she realized my to be mother-in-law's maiden name is the same as mine.

Now, that ought to get the board talking.

Uh, did you have dueling banjos at your reception? ;)
I’m picturing a scene from deliverance.:)

Your MIL's name is pawrestlersintn? Now that is one of the weirdest things I've ever heard. ;)

Greengrappler told me that he is soliciting suggestions for his new name. I’ll start:
Greenbanger,
gtothemfg,
El Verde,
...
