Have a buddy that wrestled him once. This guy is a multiple-time state champ, va beach senior AA. Committed D1 and transferred down to be a 4x D3 AA (1x Champ).

Said Evans talked to him during the match, and it was like he was telling him what he'd do, and my buddy couldn't stop it. It was humiliating lol. Think it was at Midlands.

For 5 of 7 minutes of the last match between the two, Matt Brown told Mike to run backwards and don't stop and Mike couldn't stop. For the other two minutes Matt told Mike to lie on your stomach and don't move. Mike did and didn't. There was nothing Mike could do to stop Matt's power of persuasion.

He stated after watching DT beat someone that he was not impressed by Taylor. Ever since then he has been teased about not being impressed. They even had a thread going on this site for a while. "what impressed Mike Evans this week" or something like that. They would post it every week and it was hilarious!!
