End of 2nd, PSU trails 2-3. Tuned in at 0-2 during the first intermission. Penalty-free 1st. PSU scored a goal early in the 2nd. A few penalties. The Gophers scored on a SH 4-on-4 (right at end of PSU penalty) and PSU scored during the rest of the Gophers' penalty.
PSU falls 3-6. Minnesota's freshman McManus with a hat trick. Double game misconducts - one on each side - with seconds left in the game. Tough break. Probably would have been better for PSU to have played Saturday, but the Gophers did what they needed to do (without several key players) to save a split. Heard the PSU crew mention that only PSU and Wisconsin have won 2 in Mariucci since B1G play started and no one has yet to sweep the Gophers at their barn.
