It's tOSU week

Like Iowa's line up, Ohio state also offers some solid PA kids

- Luke Pletcher
- Sammy Sasso
- Gavin Hoffman

Anyone care to run the tournament numbers on this all PA team? I may have missed someone, and admit I had to use Intermat for 197 and HWt...
125 SLee
133 DeSanto
141 Pletcher
149 Sasso
157 HHidlay
165 Cenzo
174 Kemmerer
184 THidlay
197 Greg Bulsak
HWT Jordan Wood

That team would win nationals.

PS, Ethan Laird should be the 197 unless he takes a rankings hit for yesterday's loss to Pagano. State finalist at Gen. McLane.

A lot of fun matchups but obviously Nick vs Pletcher is the headliner.

Could we be vulnerable to an upset if Pletcher wins? That'll assume they got wins 125, 141, 149, 157, 197. I think we outbonus them even if it's split 5-5 (I don't think they pick up any except maybe at 197 if we sit Shak but I'd rather let Shak wrestle this match). We're down this year but you know Tom Ryan wants to beat us.

I'll take Geer at 197. He has taken some losses lately but i would take him in March.

Interested to see if Meredith can break thru and beat Heinselman. No way in freestyle, but in folk ... Heinselman is 14-13 this year and seems to have regressed.

Str8DBLz says that Berge is out for the year but apparently Byers said he wouldn't be surprised if we see Berge Saturday night... will the rumor mill fall victim to blast double?

I'd be happy to see Berge get the start to be honest!!!!!!!! Maybe we would get a win at 157 if he starts?
So saying he was out is just clever reverse jinxing! Good work! #bestfanbaseinncaa #wedoourpart :)

Not sure Heinselman will be in the line-up vs. PSU. Dylan Koontz dropped from 133 and wrestled against NW, losing to DeAugustino 3-2, while the Buckeyes sent Heinselman to the Greyhound Open, which he won. Heinselman was 1-6 in duals since the CKLV, so they may be looking to reevaluate the weight.

Anyone else concerned that Ryan doesn't start Pletch on Saturday to get back at Cael for not having the dual of the century in BJC 2 years ago?

I'd be more mad about the Shak vs. Myles B1G non-final, or maybe that whole Snyder + Kerkvliet Eastward Migration thing, if I were him. Don't think he's quite that petty though.

In addition to Nick's loss to Pletcher way back then, he had 2 wins over current top 8 125 pounders!

I think that would be punishing yourself! I'm sure Ryan really wants to beat PSU, and holding Pletcher out sure wouldn't help that!
