When I was in the service, a friend and I used to fish in Tampa bay quite a lot with a 12 ft row boat. One day we were out and I see this fin coming from a long ways away. We both got our rods ready with fresh bait and waited for it to get closer. When it got close and we saw how big of a hammerhead it was, we both crouched down in the boat hoping it would not see us. It went past about 6 ft from the boat and it was as long as our boat. Scared both of us. It just swam by, not like this one in the video.
