Football GAMEDAY THREAD: No. 11 Penn State vs. Northwestern

This OL should thrive in weather like this…. where you can just be a bulldozer but naturally every yard they get on the ground is so hard earned and a struggle

TOUCHDOWN PENN STATE

Nick Singleton takes it in from the two-yard line.

Penn State 13
Northwestern 0

XP Pending

Nice drive. Most impressive thing was Singletons block on 4th
good to see

The ball was at the half-yard line when Singleton's knee touched down at the 2! The b1g Homer's are unreal with their bs!
Yeah that was a bad spot. Not half-yard line but looked like the one. He had not fully stretched his arm carrying the ball when his knee hit.

Broken record--the refs are not trying to help Northwestern here despite what you want to believe

Great, we get to hear from Full-of-Garbage Always-Wrong Tool-boy. Yea, that spot wasn't off by a yard and one-half - the camera lies. Anybody watching the game knows what a joke it is that not a single NW OL has been called for Holding.

from the pros now trickling down to college every got damned body wants a dpi on every incomplete pass ever

Say the spot was wrong--it was--that's not what you did though.
How many times have we been called for holding? There's literally holding on every play--as long as it's consistent it's fine.
You constantly try to play victim

Dude put the guy on ignore for crying out loud.

Wasn't the first gawd-awful spot against PSU either. They've done a couple drunk, stagger forward as you walk toward middle for NW as well.

Wow. Nick Singleton with his second fumble of the day and Northwestern will take over on Penn State's 28-yard line.

Penn State had one turnover in their first four games, and has three in the first half today.

Well at least we know that Michigan and other defensive rugged teams will target Nick and go after the ball big time since hes put the ball on the ground 3 × today technically

aaaaaand Penn State gets the ball back.

That is now, six turnovers in this first half.

Curtis Jacobs recovers a fumble forced by Nick Tarburton.

Penn State outgained Northwestern 202-78 in that first half. The defense has played great, the offense has been able to move the ball but Nick Singleton's two turnovers have been costly. The weather definitely affecting playcalling in this one.
