CFB selection committee and OSU

on GameDay heard something about Gene Smith somehow being "involved" with the CFB selection committee. He cant vote but somehow is involved? WTF - how is this not a major conflict of interest??? i knew he had something to do with the CBB tournament, but did not know CFG too. this dude should have been fired with Tressel. how did he survive???

He's on the friggin committee. He picks the teams, except he "leaves the room" when they talk about OSU. It's hilarious FIFA type stuff.
