"Calculator" on my desk top, pinned to my task bar, now never really loads

on the computer screen.

It pops up like it wants to load but then very quickly goes away.

What's wrong? It's the calculator app for the desk top.

I never had this problem before.

Thanks in advance.

I just pinned the calculator on my PC to the task bar. Was able to open and use the app as usual. What Op System are you using?

You'll need to yell "Go Duke!" twice and then reboot, works every time.

Try holding function key at the same time and see if it stays there. Also after you do that hit "Restart" or "Shutdown" while holding the shift key (not necessary hitting Restart). Those are the only two ways Windows actually shuts down 100%, which is occasionally necessary to fix weird issues that had never occurred before! I believe if you have enabled shutdown with the power button it will and still save your work too.

Is that after he yells "Go Duke!" Three times and spins counterclockwise twice? And then kisses a photo of Ciach K? Or before?

function key??

1. Click 'Start' ie: Windows button
2. Find 'Calculator' in list
3. Right click 'Calculator' > more > App Settings > uninstall
4. Restart
It will be reinstalled during the restart. Find again, as above and 'pin' to task bar.

You did the App Reset, followed by a Windows Restart or Shutdown?
If so then my last suggestion before a reinstall of Windows 10, would be to try the Terminate, followed by a Windows Restart. Good Luck!
Also there are more calculators available in the Windows Store.
