Heisman is reserved for pompous headcases about to flame out in real life. Saquon is and will be a winner in life!! It's a crazy world. Saquon and Penn Staters will have the last laugh.

Just curious, who in the hell does watch the Heisman show? I mean, unless the team you pull for has a player invited, why watch? Who cares? If Penn State players never win another Heisman trophy ever again, I'm perfectly fine with it. I couldn't care less about individual awards.

I won't be watching the Heisman show, but I wonder what the over/under should be on the number of Barkely's highlights they still sneak in?

Well, at the end of the day, in the big games we lost, his stats were waaay down. The other guys stats--weren't. So it's fair. It happens.

BULLSHIT! Barkley wasn't screwed by the voters. Give me a break! Franklin made him second fiddle in this offense at the WORST times. Only one person to blame here.

Barkley is the BEST player in COLLEGE FOOTBALL! Franklin DROPPED the ball. Don't try to sway it another way!

and Jackson leads his team to an 8-4 record losing to Clemson, then the juggernauts of BC, Wake Forrest, and and NC State while compiling a stat line of,......

3489 yds 25 TD's 6 int and a passer rating of 151.3.......

another qb we know...3228yds, 26 TD's, 8 int's with a qb rating of 153.6.

Clearly Jackson is deserving...

I don't think anyone dropped the ball. The number one priority of a coach is to win games. The offense was run in the best way to move the ball, score points, and win games. When a team scores 38 points, you can't put the loss on the "misuse" of Barkley. If you re-watch the MSU game, prior to the weather delay, you will see the offense was moving at will.

Franklin could have manipulated the offense to allow bigger Heisman numbers, but it might have made us even less competitive in some games. Barkley is the best player this year. He wasn't invited because people look at numbers and not total impact. The people who know his impact the most are our opponents and anyone who actually watched the games from start to finish.
