One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a

well. The animal cried piteously for hours as

the farmer tried to figure out what to do.

Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the

well needed to be covered up anyway;

it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over

and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began

to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the

donkey realized what was happening and cried

horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he

quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally

looked down the well. He was astonished at what

he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his

back, the donkey was doing something amazing.

he would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel

dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it

off and take a step up.

Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey

stepped up over the edge of the well and

happily trotted off!

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds

of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well

is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of

our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out

of the deepest wells just by not stopping,

never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

Free your heart from hatred - - Forgive.

Free your mind from worries - - Most never happen.

Live simply and appreciate what you have.

Give more.

Expect less.

NOW ............

Enough of that crap .

The donkey later came back,

and bit the farmer who had tried to bury him.

The gash from the bite got infected and

the farmer eventually died in agony from septic shock.

MORAL FROM TODAY'S LESSON:

When you do something wrong,

and try to cover your a$$,

it always comes back to bite you

That was......wait for it....EPIC.....

For a 3rd post, that was outstanding.

Thank you for not calling me a troll as j30329 did on my first post. My wife Karen & I have been supporting the student-athletic scholarship fund (all sports) for the past 15 years. I would be happy to meet some of the posters on this board. You don’t need an appointment…we can be found on game day at Section EE, seats WC 28 & 30, drop by, Kar & I will introduce to a few of the players parents.

Well, you're OK by me, and thanks for inviting members of the Board to your section. After nearly 40 years of season tickets, I seldom attend games anymore, but obviously many here do. One caution. Don't ever suggest if someone stops by you will buy them a hotdog or coke. If you do, you will be swamped, so be sure you have a suitcase full of cash.:)

Thank you gentleman. As you can see (avatar) I'm not a spring rooster. The first time and only time I spoke with Joe was at College Park, MD. Early in the morning Joe & Fran were hanging near the bleachers talking, I introduced myself & I honestly don't remember what the heck I said. The time was in the early 70's, I believe we were behind 22-zip @ halftime and came back, big, to win. I guess I could find the game in archives on one of the web sites to see if memory is correct. Cappy the RB?

You will have to forgive J30329. He hasn't been right since he got that plate in his head.

I’ve enjoyed reading the threads on the FOS & this board since the middle 2000's, probably around the time you joined, but never had the interest to type comments....not my forte. Of course, the subject matter stated to turn sour when the rumors starting on the board concerning JS in around 09' I believe.
Great post--hope you come around more often.
