174 Semi: Carter Starocci vs. Mikey Labriola

This could be a fun match

Per 1
Starocci with a low shot, Labriola sprawls, nothing. Starocci tries a double, Labriola sprawls, and OOB with 1:13 left. (first show in a while by either guy) Both guys wrestling from their knee for a bit. Labriola with a bit of a duck attempt, nothing. End

Per 2
Starocci takes bottom. CS works up, and he's out in 8 sec, 1-0. Starocci is active, but not getting anything. Stoppage for headgear with Labriola. Under 1 min. Starocci looked to shoot, stuffed. 20 sec left. End RT @ 8 sec for Labriola

Per 3
Labriola takes bottom. He slowly works up, and he's out in 18 sec, 1-1. Starocci with a shot, stuffed. Labriola basically never shoots. And he does, and Starocci with a counter that nearly gets a TD, but Labriola kicks out of it. 30 sec left. Starocci in on a single, Labriola reaches over for an ankle, they scramble, and the buzzer sounds. Nebraska throws the brick, as they think he had the TD. Starocci nearly had exposure. Will be interesting. Call stands

Berge didn't start at MD, They sent out Gardner for senior night, or just a rest.

Setting aside all the back and forth banter with the Iowa fans, one other point seems obvious again. PA wrestlers are going to outnumber all the other states when it comes to most AAs this year.

Brooks gets a head inside single, nearly loses it, Poz doing a split on the edge, Brooks gets the TD just before they go OOB with 40 sec left, 2-0. Poz to his feet, tripped back down, and OOB with 16 sec left. End. RT @ 42 sec for Brooks

Brooks takes bottom. Brooks works up, and he's out in 5 sec, 3-0. Poz tries a duck and nearly gets countered by Brooks, nothing. Brooks in on a head inside single, Poz with a split, they are on the edge, and AB gets it, 5-0, then OOB with 5 sec left. End. RT @ 48 sec for Brooks

Poz takes bottom. Pop works up, and he's out in 10 sec, 5-1. RT at 58 sec for AB, so not a factor. Brooks in on a double and gets the TD, 7-1, as he take the RT over 1 min. He cuts him 7-2. Brooks with an ankle pick and gets the TD, 9-2. Stoppage for ?? -- I think Brooks was hanging on to the legs so got a stall call. Pop up, as he goes down he tries a roll, nothing. End. With RT, it's a 10-2, major!!!
