    Bummer of a day. Had to put my Daughter's cat down (Lewis). Only cat I ever had, can't believe the attachment you lose, just like a dog.........

    Very sad day. So sorry. We’ve had to put two down - Sammer was our first cat and he was with us for 18 years. Wasn’t a “cat person“ until Sam adopted us. They each have a personality and are pretty darn smart. Condolences.

    Back-up generator systems

    We installed a Generac whole house (16KW) installed 5 or 6 years ago. Was originally going for a 10 KW, but the installer upgraded us to 16 for no extra charge. Works great. Runs for @ 15 minutes every other week for self maintenance. The longest it has run since installation has been 6.5 hours...

    E-Readers vs Real books

    Love the feeling of reading a true book. That being said, I also read on a Nook and on my iPad. No problem adapting to the Nook but do find the iPad can be a tiny bit more tiring due to the bright clarity of the screen, which can be adjusted in preferences. Never tried a Kindle.

    The Creature From the Black Lagoon! But, to be honest, I was only 5 or 6 at the time. Dad loved taking us to the drive in and I was supposed to be sleeping. I wasn't. And I didn't for the next week!
