What's With the Confederate flag being displayed at the tailgate today?

Obviously the battle flag was used as part of the national flag.

But what was flying at the B/W game, and what under dispute, is the battle flag and nothing more. It's amazing how many people don't know that it wasn't the national flag.

Latty. Anyone can fly any flag they choose.

Don't start saying its racial or anything else.

Don't spin it to fit how you feel.

Yes you can go tear it down. Please do. That is
Ok to do so.

The guy then has the right to kick your ass.

Now that would be funny.

Yes you are correct that is the battle flag. I thought
They were flying version 2 of the national flag.

meh. you're right on that. i had thought it was. still doesn't change my point that that flag is not appropriate.

Well hell, I haven't even seen a picture of the flag. It was posted as a "Confederate flag is all. I know many people don't know the difference between hundreds upon hundreds of Confederate flags that were made during the war.

Posted on the "other" confederate flag thread, enjoy.

The ONLY reason ANYONE flies a "confederate" flag is to announce they are bigots. Saw a bumper sticker on a "pick-up truck" in Florida with "Where is Lee Harvey Oswald when we need him". Really???? Remember the average IQ is 98 !!!!

The nonsense about Lincoln, states rights, slavery, etc. is ONLY a distractor for the the real REASON people fly that flag today.
