WR Daniel George to PSU

There is a half decent chance that Penn State may be ahead of the SEC Bag Men in the recruiting race at the end of July. That, in itself, is fairly amazing. With that said, don't count the bag men out just yet, it's only the 16th and they have 2 full weeks to make it rain.

Justin Fields?

Justin Fields?
One would have to think Justin is doing some deep thinking after this weekend. Just look at the 2 TEs (both top 10) 2 WRs (1 top 5, the other top 50), and RB (number 1). And at least one more likely on the way. Should be interesting if Enis announces really soon as Franklin may only take 3 WRs with announcement of kicker today.

George is a good track athlete who competed in hurdles, long jump, and relays for Oxon Hill. His best performances are 14.48 for high hurdles, 37.72 for 300 Intermediate hurdles, and 21'3" for the long jump. Fellow 2018 commit Zack Kuntz had a 14.47 best for the high hurdles, and 39.80 for 300 intermediate hurdles.

Love it. Looks a lot like Chris Godwin.

Welcome to Penn State, Daniel George & family!
Agree on the comparison to Godwin. Love the combination of size, speed and balance but the best part is how he reaches out with his hands to catch the ball instead of waiting for the ball to come to him.

This isn't a knock on Fields, but he obviously wants to go where he can see early playing time and that ain't happening with the QB depth PSU is currently blessed with. Five star or not!

From what I have read he is VERY quick, which means getting separation. Football Quickness is far more important than just speed (unless it is elite).
