Manning needs to retire after the SB. He did nothing most of the game. Missed some wide open TDs. Totally inept offense in the second half. The Denver D barely survived. I think winner of Arizona vs Carolina kills Denver in 2 weeks.

No. Three running plays that took only 20 seconds off the clock was the point. Left NE too much time. Went and took a dump only to see NE first and goal with 40 seconds left..... Can't give good teams that kind of opportunity (even though Denver has a great defense). Just can't. Gotta get that first down.

He doesn't have to be great with that defense....something he never had in the past. Agree that he should hang it up, but credit due to 18 for playing within himself.

Third down was actually a pass down the sideline that would have been a first down if not underthrown. Denver lucky it was not intercepted. No reason not to throw on third down with the two minute warning timeout coming up after the play.
