dont think so = we needed to beat tosu. that loss ended our chances unless tosu had totally fallen and lost to UM. a win over Sparty would have moved us to 5 or 6 now, and a different bowl.
Only way we ever get in is if we are undefeated. Otherwise, we'll get the shaft as always.
I don’t think that is the case. OSU and PSU would have been tied and OSU won head to head.
We wouldn’t have made the big ten champ game unless Osu had dropped two conference games.
we would have been ranked AHEAD of tOSU in that scenario. although Bama with one loss would have trumped us. both of us with 1 loss and sat out of conf championship games.
I for some reason was thinking Ohio State would have had 2 conference loses. At 11-1 I think they would have given Alabama the benet of the doubt due to history of being dominate.
OSU had a really strong resume last year. Oklahoma, Wisky and Michigan, all top 10 wins. We don't have one of those this year. I never had a problem with OSU going last year. I thought we should have gone over Washington.
Just without the 3 top 10 wins. Our best win would have been a 4 loss MSU team.
