Notre Dame ratings are only going to continue to go down year over year. Their core fanbase that brought them to national prominence is now getting pretty old and not watching TV and driving ratings. And with the way ND has played and not being affiliated with a conference, their fanbase over the past 20 years just continues to go down year over year. If the NBC president wasn't a huge ND fan and thereby re-upped their deal a few years ago, ND would be even more irrelevant.
