I read through an article about it last night. I don’t recall it saying anywhere it was not a consensual relationship, just that it should have been declared after a new policy was put in place last July and that they shouldn’t have been using University email to talk about it.

Making the potentially poor assumption that she was OK with it, this looks a lot like a hatchet job to me.
