Summer Football Camps

Was discussing the PSU Football camps back in the 2000's and someone recently and they mentioned that PSU did their own in the summer with the base being at East Halls (which I recall) but they said PSU also hosted Nike events before hand. Does anyone know anything about these and why did PSU drop them or just go with their own in the summer. Was it the Sandusky crap again?

Overnight night camps were stopped years ago. The day camps allow for kids to visit more schools over the summer and to be seen by more coaches. None of the major schools do overnight camps any longer. Nothing to do with Covid or Sandusky.
