I’m as peeved as anyone on this board after what happened against Illinois today. The only silver linings are that the good start and high goals of this season are now off the table. The main goals should be to play tight games down the stretch and not lose this incoming recruiting class. In addition, whatever loyalties this staff thought they owed to the players with seniority who are not getting it done should be gone. The current players on offense and defensive trenches just don’t have “it”. Maybe this loss gives the staff the space to:

1. Start other QBs since SC is clearly not ready to be out there.

2. Play ANY RB other than those who played today. Did Lovett only get one carry today? Why? Get Holmes in there! We need some more speed at RB. How much worse could it be?

3. Wholesale changes on the OL going forward. The current uglies aren’t getting it done. Try pulling a guard for cripes sake.

4. Strange should be out until he gets rid out the dropsies. Start whichever TEs are the best blockers and not pass catchers.

5. Yurcich has some ‘splainin’ to do. That’s 6.5 REALLY BAD quarters of playcalling over the past two games.

6. Franklin. Get pissed. Get really pissed. Stop being just the game manager. I saw your frustration on the sidelines today. If your staff isn’t getting it done, then YOU need to get in there and fix things.
