Fought a long battle. And as a fellow artist in Baltimore, he and Maybin had to be close. The commercials on BTN with Maybin are pretty interesting as he is a man of many talents. Would lie to know more about the work that these two did for Baltimore.

While I'm all for players getting additional compensation for showcasing their athletic abilities, both of these men also show the value of nurturing the whole person via education.
The combination of their intrinsic gifts, plus the chance to focus on areas of interest, changed their lives and likely many in their home community.
When I hear the NCAA parrot talk about "scholar athletes" I mostly cringe. These two men maximized their abilities and everyone associated with them has benefitted.
I have a magazine cover with Matt's artwork of a PSU crowd at the heart of a ticket collage which hangs in my office. I have thought of him as a player and person often.

We met Rice in the Old Main art store that used to be on College Ave but moved. He was very kind and gracious with his time to talk. Bought one of his pieces which I need to get framed .
