There was a video on social media taken right after he was shot, still sitting in the car. Kids showed it to me.

They had a vigil here two nights ago for him, attended by a bunch of under-25 males all pulling into the parking lot blaring music so the entire community could hear them.

It's sad that they myth of rappers needing to be involved in homicide in order to have cred, has become real. If you watched "Straight Outta Compton", it showed that only Eric was an actual criminal, and very small time and middle man related, at that. Today, that's all changed: the myth has become reality. It has to go back to entertainment and embellishment, because right now it's at it's zenith, as far as the need to be involved with street violence.
