Brie and it's not even close.
Charlize usually looks better - prefer her blonde with less make-up.
Amy because nothing else is good.

I debated including 'Oscar' looks from places other than the red carpet (you know, where models go to show off 'their' talents without actually being in movies) such as the Vanity Fair party, but then you would have a bunch of ringers, like this:

Thus the board name, Al Tuna.

Go ahead use the pics from other places, I think we can suffer through it.

Not a fan of the Kardashians, but this is one sexy girl in one sexy outfit.

Bob will be right back.

Midnighter, where is this after party you speak of? Do these women hang out there during the actual Oscar show? If so I want to get there early and pass out my gold inlay movie producer business cards.

sticking just to the red carpet pics.
Amy Adams is always reliable, and looks like she may have lost a few pounds just in time for the event. Probably needs to lose a couple more. Still - 1st.
Emilia Clarke doing a classic look; and I have always thought her face was unlike anyone else I can think of - 2nd.
I am not familiar with Laura Harrier, but she looks awful pretty in this pic; same with Kiki Layne - I would give them a tie for 3rd. Kiki gets knocked down a peg or two for that ridiculous huge bow; need to get rid of that and keep the rest of her gown.
Charlize is always interesting, but falls a little short here.

Happy Emma Stone finally got some votes. Her dress aside, just nothing spectacular about her hair/makeup (and the girl can put on a show when she wants - here she is at the Oscars in 2015):

Also, any guesses as to the value of Lady Gaga's Tiffany necklace?

Yeah, but she should have her thyroid checked.

Oops, I was slow to get in on this poll, and discovered that it had closed this morning. I took the liberty of editing the poll rules, and re-opened it so that I could vote. ;)

Thanks again for putting this together, @Midnighter

I'll go with:

Laura Harrier to win,
Brie Larson to place, and
Amy Adams to show

Jennifer Lopez's dress/appearance was very nice, and it was hard to keep her out of the top 3. Lady Gaga's dress was nice, but I wasn't all that enamored by her look. Gemma Chan's picture doesn't do her any favors, IMHO, as I thought she looked quite nice during the pre-Oscar show, but not as nice in the pic in the poll. Charlize Theron usually gets a vote from me, and her dress had some interesting aspects. She ended up either 4th or 5th in my final determination. That KiKi Layne was in the poll was a pleasant surprise to me. She didn't make my top 3, but she was impressive. Emma Stone, as always, looked quite nice. Alas, I feel her dress didn't do her any favors, as she seemed lost in it. Emilia Clarke had a classic look; I just didn't think she was top-3 worthy.

Once again, thanks for posting this, Midnighter

For those that missed the poll earlier in the week, you can still vote in it.

Sorry Tom - typically keep polls to two or three days and you were pretty active the morning after the Oscars so I thought you'd be in on it earlier. I think my top three ended up finishing 1, 2, 3, which is rare. I'm not the biggest J Lo fan but her 'look' was spectacular. If Larson had a conventional 'up do' I think she would have had one of the best looks in years.

no problem. I was on the board -- just wasn't overwhelmed with the options, so I decided to hold off a day before voting, and somehow that slipped.

Larson's hairstyle is likely what caused me to not have her in 1st place. I'd concur with your comments on if she had gone with a conventional 'up do.'

J Lo's dress was dazzling, and she looked great in it.

I've put together many similar polls over the years, and have had a similar experience of rarely having my top 3 matching the top 3 vote getters.
