what names are we looking at as targets for the 2020 class at PSU? TIA.

The spreadsheet is a little behind some recent news -- Lawrence and Edmond both committed elsewhere (Lehigh and Missouri, respectively).

We're officially still in on both Ferrari and Amos, though both seem unlikely. But never say never with Cael.

No evidence that we're in on Ulrey, that seems more of tracking a national-profile PA kid (like Catka and Lawrence were). And he has a tough fit on the roster.

Lee seems probable, though no news with him.

That's likely it for national profile guys this year. After that, look for a few state-level guys -- Blumer seems a good possibility, maybe 2-3 more guys.

Welcome. This is very different than football. With the scholarship limits, you can’t chase everyone. PSU is also the unquestioned place to be. 8 out of 9 NC will do that. We had a few kids take this past year off. Worked out with NLWC but never enrolled. Like Micah Parsons working out with the Eagles for a year before coming to PSU.

This is a welcoming board....if you don’t know something, ask. Deep well of knowledge here. A shared joy, on many levels, with a complete respect for the sport and those who participate.

Who wants to clue the new guy in on the slush fund? ;)

He can’t be read into the Slush Fund until he contributes to said fund and pays his entrance fee into the Inner Circle. Their Slush Fund contribution correlates to their level in the Inner Circle.

Scratch what I said above about Blumer -- he just committed to another Penn Stater, Tim Flynn at West Virginia.

Any chance we could get an El Jefe Scouting Report please?
Quick and gets into a lot of high scoring matches.

National top 15-ish type. Got handled by both Ryan Anderson and Ed Scott last year. Competitive with other high state placers who might someday be PA state champs but aren't yet.

IIRC he's originally from the Lehigh Valley, moved south and won 2 state titles in Georgia, the moved back to Nazareth this year and made the state finals. So he might be a little behind other PA kids' development curves.

If that sounds a lot like Scott Moore's prototype recruit ...

There has been a 3" binder of gold Intel created to answer all recruiting questions from the trail.

At the next board meeting you can sign it out overnight.

Ask for sgt at arms spykers secretary for assistance in setting up your emails to the staff.

Maybe overly optimistic but I have a feeling we will hear of either Amos or Ferrari committing to PSU by the end of the month after visits.

The smart money may be against us for either one but... you say there is a chance.

It seems Amos says he will lose 20 lbs and go 197 which seems to take him out of consideration for us IMO. With Beard we are more than set for the next 4-5. Ferrari says he is going heavy. No disrespect to Seth but as started before I think AJ will be next level.

I would have loved to have seen them wrestle each other over the past year or so. Maybe in the coming years if Amos can't hold 197.
