He can't even stay consistent with Ohio State's official report.

According to the newly released summary of findings from Ohio State’s investigation into Urban Meyer, the OSU coach had a “concerning” first reaction to reports that he and his wife, Shelley, were both aware of Courtney Smith’s allegations of Zach Smith’s abuse in 2015. After Brett McMurphy published his report on Aug. 1, based on an interview with and text screenshots from Courtney Smith, Meyer had a discussion with Ohio State director of football operations Brian Voltolini, in which they talked about how Meyer could delete texts older than one year from his phone. From the summary:

Upon seeing this report when it first came out (at about 10:17 a.m.), Brian Voltolini, who was on the practice field with Coach Meyer went to speak with him, commenting that this was “a bad article.” The two discussed at that time whether the media could get access to Coach Meyer’s phone, and specifically discussed how to adjust the settings on Meyer’s phone so that text messages older than one year would be deleted.

The investigators go on to say that there were no texts on Meyer’s phone older than one year when Ohio State got ahold of it the following day.

someone tweeted that he said something along the lines of the idea he didn't delete texts, he just 'un-saved' texts after a certain period of time after learning the press would gain access to his phone.

Apparently McMurphy does not have any additional bombs to drop. Unfortunately, the media will now move on............

I'm sure that is TECHNICALLY not a lie, a misrepresentation and completely ethical in all manner, right. All above board in Columbus, as usual, circle the wagons. Their president has ethics by all reports but was overruled by the fanboys on the BOT. Just Win Baby.

Meyer said his medically-induced memory loss doesn't affect him during games.

Haha, very considerate condition that he has that it knows not to kick in during games.

Some people are going to have a field day with Meyer's own statements on the recruiting trail. I wouldn't doubt if Hairball sends someone behind every Ohio St assistant out there with a package of you really want to play for this guy material which of course would be hilarious because of the material Ohio St could then put together on that crazy SOB.

Urban Liar. Best name for a clown like this. He should run for politics for he has the lying down to a science.

Amazing how f--king big his ego is. It's crazy how some people who get their ego stroked daily are surrounded by such yes men who all seem to end up in trouble. The fact his own school said he tried to delete the texts means nothing to him, must be fake. That is what you say now when the facts don't align with your own warped reality.

To be fair all he did was change the settings on his phone so that it would not keep texts over a year old. He didn’t delete the texts; he unretained them. ;)
