That half of football looked like 2014 PSU/Michigan. Clown show all around. Fickell's looking rather clueless himself on the Bearcat end.
i think it may be too early to figure them out. Florida is not a even a mediocre offense with all their players, and then take out 10 players including their top WR and RB = not much of a challenge. i think we would have beaten Florida last week in a real woodshed spanking. Cincy is not top half of their league.
Harbaugh has been very lucky since he got to Mich - first year he got Brady's top recruits + a grad transfer allowed with Ruddock that gave him a QB type he needed (he would have never been able to work with the QBs Hoke had = like Gardner). Harbaugh's second year he had a senior ladden team made of Hoke's recruits. these two seasons made it appear there was a massive turnaround, and allowed recruiting to pickup. This year he got Florida on a great weekend and the schedule sets up for him to come to PSU unbeaten.
UM has recruited some good players, and will improve over the season. Harbaugh is a good coach, but has not had to deal with the cards Franklin has had to put up with. right now we would beat them by 10-20 pts on a neutral site. this gap is likely to close some as we move toward the game.
the thing about new younger teams is when the schedule sets up to win their opening games, they are alot more dangerous when you have to be the one who gives them their first loss. Glen Mason always says when you get to 4-0 by playing a soft schedule the team confidence soars and the team will see themselves as better than they are.
Agree. But, assuming that we are going to run them off the field this early on is premature. Same can be said for Northwestern.
