lmagine Barkley behind the Offensive lines

That Carter and Warner had. Ridiculous.......
Or Baker Mayfield's.... If Heisman campaign's ended today, very clear that OU's OL vs PSU's OL decided the result

I still don't think Mayfield will win despite his statistical and team success because enough voter's will downgrade him a slot or two for being as ass (summer DUI, flag plant at OSU, mouthing off pregame, etc) Voter's will feel very good about voting for Saquon. They know he is the best player in the country (perhaps in a two man heat with L. Jackson) and is a A+ teammate and human being.

Heisman aside just imagine viewing the masters of art and science of running the football.

of _________. Fill in the blank.

Agree. Josh Adams, (remember him?) was averaging 8.6 yards a carry behind ND's OL. Adams is no close to being the RB that Barkley is.

Shush. Running yardage is not needed here. Our coaches have no answer for 40% TFL for Saquon over the past 53 rushes. No problem here that just better OL players would not solve. Never question the offense's inability to overcome the defensive strategies that have neutered our running game. Just keep passing.

Imagine Barkley catching 8-10 swing passes / or catching balls after brush block releases out of the backfield.....every game.....going 1 on 1 being single covered by linebackers as our receivers run defensive backs deep.

Ds couldn’t handle this.

A real glaring stat: SB, a few games back had 11 rushes on 3rd down for a whopping total of "10 yards." As Vince used to say: "what the hell are we doing out there."

Well, yeah, but then he'd be running out of the I with a fullback...and according to what one poster (GMJ or Osprey, can't remember which) wrote recently, that's an "old, stale" offense and "caveman football." And we couldn't have that, could we? ;)
