Since you guys turned the OSU thread into a Lehigh thread, I thought I would take a whirl at this and start a preview for Lehigh's season.

125 – Schram (Sr)

After an injury shortened 2018 season at Stanford, Schram gets a 6th season and transfers to Lehigh, replacing Cruz at 125. At NCAAs, Schram went 0-2 in 2015, finished #8 in 2016 and 1-2 in 2017.

133 – Parker (Sr)

A two-time All-American with a 7th place finish in 2018 and 8th place finish in 2017 (1-2 in 2015).

141 – Karam (So)

Karam went 21-9 last year getting the #13 seed and going 1-2.

149 – Schuyler (Sr)

Went 14-12 for his first year as a starter last year. One of two Lehigh wrestlers to overperform at the NCAA tournament (in comparison to record and/or seed) going 2-2 with wins against Prince and Bannister.

157 – Brown (Sr)

A one-time qualifier going 1-2 in 2018 with an 18-12 season.

157/165 – Wolf (Sr)

A two-time qualifier going 1-2 in 2016 (@174) and 2-2 in 2018 (@165).

165 – Walter (Jr)

He has yet to be a full year starter but did qualify in 2017 going 1-2. He also had a win against McFadden that year.

174 – Kutler (Jr)

Kutler became the starter at 157 in the 2017 season after a great Southern Scuffle championship run, beating Lavallee and Joe Smith. Unfortunately, his season was cut short by injury. Then in 2018, went 28-5 as the full season starter getting the #4 seed and finished #6 after getting injured against Lewis and defaulting against BoJo.

184 – Preisch (Sr)

A 3-time qualifier going 1-2 in 2016, round of 12 in 2017 (@174) as the #6 seed and 2-2 in 2018 as the #3 seed. This is not a very bold prediction but this is the year Preisch turns around those past disappointing performances and finally reaches the podium.

197 – Weiler (So)

The other overperformer from last year’s tournament, he went 17-10 in his first year as a starter, going 2-2 at the NCAA tournament where he beat the #10 and #7 seeds before losing a 1-point match to Darmstadt.

H – Wood (So)

In his first year as a starter, Wood went 22-7 and had the #10 seed at the tournament and got injured in the round of 12 vs Hemida.

It’s not hard seeing how Lehigh can improve upon last year’s disappointing performance of 15th place and 36.5 points. They return 2 of their 3 AAs from last year (Parker and Kutler) and have an incoming former AA in Schram. Priesch is also certainly capable of reaching the podium and they have a few other wrestlers that may be able to take the next step up.

I'd assume Kutler could have a nice year if he can stay healthy. His match against Mark could be fun if Kutler comes out a bit more agressive.

People actually trying to wrestle and win against PSU studs generally does make it entertaining.
