Anything's possible, but she filed a claim against Epstein's estate in March, and her attorneys filed for a delay in a civil suit against her on her behalf in May.
And this March, she filed a claim against Epstein's estate for an unknown sum, according to The Miami Herald. Sighting herself as a former employee of Epstein, she sought compensation for legal fees, accommodations, and private security as she's receiving "regular threats to her life" despite her current whereabouts being unknown.
And in May, a federal magistrate judge allowed Maxwell to delay responding to a lawsuit filed against her by Annie Freeman, who claims to have been abused by the former and Epstein when she was 16 in 1996. According to ABC News, the reprieval was sought because of an ongoing investigation into Epstein's co-conspirators, and the pending approval of his estate's compensation fund for his victims.
"I'm permitting her not to respond to [written questions] and not to have her deposition," magistrate judge Debra Freeman said. "Not forever, but at least long enough to let us know whether the claims process is likely to go forward."
As far as I know, she was last seen in public in LA in August of 2019.

There are a lot of sickos out there. Rich and/or powerful men seem very prone to acting on their sick impulses. I guess they can just afford it. These are psychopaths who aren't killers like others, but users. They don't have the ability or don't care at all, to even think or consider how their actions affect those they abuse. It's all about them. Ted Bundy when asked about what he thought of those he raped and killed or what they felt, said something to the effect of, why would I think about them or what they thought. Psychopaths do not have the ability to feel empathy, they just care about themselves.

Just remember that when you think about all the high rollers that were throwing big dollars at the Second Mile for the kids. I'm still on the fence about the level of JS's guilt but there's no doubt in my mind a pedo ring was involved somewhere there. I'm two episodes in. The interviewees seem so...coached up? Not necessarily scripted, but like they definitely asked them to phrase things a certain way.

I just started watching the Netflix series. 3 of the 4 episodes down. I am thoroughly disgusted that this man was allowed to get away with this for so long. The show makes me very uncomfortable.

I find it interesting that several people mention some important names, but the only people they ever accuse of actually committing a crime are people who have been convicted or people nobody would know (nameless). You can almost tell they've seen very important people doing very bad things, but they can't say it.
There is no question he was protected by people at the highest levels. The question I have is, how do you get to everybody for that length of time that could possibly put you away?

I can not believe Cyril Wecht is still alive. How old is he? He was old when I was a kid.

But he never spoke out against Sandusky until 2012 when Sandusky was already convicted and in prison? What kind of “victim advocate” sits by idly for 27 years while a charity founded by a man he knows is a child molester grows into the largest children’s charity in PA?
And it’s not like Bucceroni can say he never know he was a victim until receiving “repressed memory therapy” just before Sandusky’s arrest like most of the other accusers.

That was Christopher Lee. There is no evidence him and Jerry Sandusky even knew each other. Maybe he did personally know a Second Mile board member, but State College is not a big city so I do not necessarily think that’s a big deal. But Lee was big into child porn, and no porn was ever found on Sandusky. Even though there was an almost 3 year period between “Victim 1” first coming forward and Sandusky’s arrest in which Sandusky had no access to Second Mile boys.

Still, the article gives no evidence Riley had any connection to Sandusky. Also, there is no evidence Riley knew her once-boyfriend was a child molester. Same with Ron Coder. Is Yonchuck really implying that he was part of the pedo ring? Seems like its simply the fact that people who choose to be involved with local non-profits in a smaller city like State College often are going to cross paths. For Yonchuck to suggest there is something nefarious here is simply a stretch.
As for why Anne Riley voted to fire Joe, she was simply a coward who was afraid of being labeled a pedo enabler by a media who clearly smelled blood in water at the time.I never understood the theory that the BOT voted to fire Joe in order to distract from their own nefarious connections to the 2nd mile. By firing Joe, it just made the case against Sandusky appear stronger and thus made it more likely Sandusky would rat out others involved (if they do indeed exist) for a plea bargain rather than maintain his innocence.

Correct. You would be hard pressed to find anyone in town who didn't know someone on the Second Mile board. They continually sought out prominent townsfolk to be on the board and many people very willingly agreed to since the charity was so well respected.
