- FSU transfer WR Malik McClaim has tested “extremely well” according to Franklin.

- UNC DB transfer Storm Duck has also been very impressive so far and has been very business like.

In a perfect world, Penn State would love an experienced guy in the quarterback room but it’s hard to sell with the talent (and young talent at that) in the room.

Won’t get into specifics of Stubblefield departure but there is very high expectations with Marques Hagans.

Hagans had other opportunities to leave Virginia in the past but multiple factors including his wife battling breast cancer for a stretch of time kept him in Charlottesville.

Hagans has a deep connection with safeties coach Anthony Poindexter, to the extent his sons middle name is Dex.

- On his nickname of Biscuit - he can’t tell the story since it’s a childhood story….

- On his relationship with Allen Iverson, they grew up in the same neighborhood, played in the same rec leagues. Iverson is a little older but Hagans calls himself an older brother and an uncle to his kids.

- Hagans wouldn’t call it a fresh start for him after last years tragedy at UVA. Says that those played will always be with him, has each of their names tattooed on his arm.
