- Johnny Dixon did not travel with the team and is not playing in the game.

- Lane Kiffin called Penn State "the model of recruiting, keeping players from transferring or opting out."

- Franklin believes that a bowl game could also be looked upon as the beginning of the next year in the way it impacts a program heading into the offseason on the recruiting trail and off.

- Franklin says that the balance of Ole Miss's offense standout to him. Notes their wide receiver room that "probably the best combination of production and receiver position that we face this year."

- No technology will be used on the sidelines. Lane Kiffin doesn't necessarily believe it would benefit the Rebels.

- James Franklin called himself a "big fan of Adisa Isaac" while calling him a high production, low maintenance" player.

Well, thats a negative on coach IMO lol as a NJ guy wawa is the norm here but I think Sheetz is better

A little bit of a combination of everything. Portal, games, early signing period, etc.

ESD should be for EEs only. If you don't plan to be there in January, you can sign in February.

The only way to spread the portal out away from the end of season is to move it to the spring. Leaving the provision for fired coaches or however it is.

The problem with moving the portal to Spring is the whole messy façade of enrolling for classes in January so you can be with the team for Spring practice.

As I have said many times before, signing player to contracts is inevitable. College football has become a developmental league for the NFL. It is sad.

Love Kiffin. Doing a great job at Ole Miss. Could contend next year. Killing it in the portal. He has really “grown up” since his So Cal days just like Sark. USC screws with a young man and both weren’t ready for the spotlight. Too many distractions wink, wink…
