PSU beats Michigan and Michigan beats Ohio St. It will then go to conference record of non-divisional opponents.

PSU played Iowa, NW and Illinois.
Ohio St has Purdue, Wisc and Minn.
Mich has Nebraska, Minn and Purdue.

Right now, assuming all three teams beat everyone but each other, Ohio St’s opponents are 6-9 while PSU’s and Mich’s are 5-9. (Iowa losing to Minn, as great as that seemed at the time, actually hurt us.)

Games to root for to help give PSU the tiebreaker:

- Iowa over Rutgers and Nebraska
- NW over Wisc and Purdue
- Illinois over Minn and Indiana

We're better off rooting for Ohio State to beat Michigan than hoping a three way tie goes our way. That and chaos is our best path if we beat Michigan
