How much "faster" are flights allowed to go?

I get it - you are more important than everyone else.
I am not sure how you got that from my post. whatever...people's egos are so fragile.

I've got my life to live, I am happy with it. I push buttons and get stuff done. Sorry, not sorry.
 
Back in the early 1990's before 9/11 and all the regulations it was not uncommon in the manufacturing industry to buy a seat on a plane just to be able to ship a critical part to one facility that they had in stock at another facility. When downtime is measured in $10,000 per hour rate, buying a last minute plane ticket to put a motor or widget in a box and check it in only to have somebody on the other end pick up was pretty common. Cannot do that anymore obviously.
