Eight Nittany Lions have been invited to the NFL Combine, of the notable names missing are LB Ellis Brooks and DT Derrick Tangelo.

Correct, no Tangelo at the combine either. Interestingly enough both Ellis and Tangelo played in the East-West Shrine Game.

Did Tangelo have the extra Covid year? If so he should have considered coming back. If he could play a full year beside PJ his numbers would probably have been great.

Brooks,especially, and Tangelo played well in big games and there were a lot of big games. We just stopped winning them.

Brooks not getting invited baffles me. Tangelo ...ok. but The O is what lost games for PSU....
Brooks should have stayed one more year because of his injury...

I thought he had a nice year. I’m sure there are plenty in that list less deserving than him.
believe me, I don’t feel sorry for him. Back out of bowl game to prep for draft and doesn’t even get an invite. It I thought he deserved an invite.
