The defense hasn't been pretty and definitely some things to improve on, but they have only given up 9 points if you take out the 4th Q last week. Not bad

They most definitely did NOT dominate the first half vs. the rush. Pitt had like 214 rushing yards, those plays accounted for less than half of them. Seemed to me they were so unsure of their footing they just whiffed or got easily juked which turned a zero yardage play into a 7 yard play.

Now in passing situations, yes they dominated the entire game.

Quite a turnaround by the defense but I'm still not sold. Pitt repeatedly shot themselves in the foot and eventually seemed to give up. The good news is that we have two easy games for the young players to learn before OSU comes to town.
