I know people are focused on more important things (like 2 pt conversions and 4th down decision making) but it was Disgusting how many Michigan fans were in the stadium yesterday.

Thought the same. Most visiting fans I've ever seen. I park in lot 22. At least half of the lot attendants were wearing MI gear. What's up with that? A lot of Wal Mart Wolverines.

That said, there were times in Q1 that I thought the crowd was the loudest I've ever heard it, and I have been to all of the loud ones.

There were a lot of Michigan fans but there were a lot of WVU fans at the night game too. There are still 15,000ish tickets available after the 90,000ish season ticket holders are accounted for.

The throwing of things on the field, which I’ve read but about don’t actually see in the videos supposedly showing it, if true, is inexcusable.

As for the rest of it, the crowd was LOUD and amped up the entire game, right up until 24-9. It’s upsetting to read folks throw the fans under the bus; the fans more than did their part to disrupt the Michigan’s offense and give the home team energy to feed off of.

Don’t blame the fans for booing when Franklin decides he no longer wants to try to win anymore in the 4th Qtr, like he also did at Ohio St, and goes for it on 4th and long deep in his own territory in a one score game with plenty of time and timeouts left. (And other boneheaded decisions like it.)

I saw somebody throw what appeared to be a full beer can from EJ after a bad call. Forget which one. It went way out onto the field. Ref picked it up.

Gotcha. Thx. Yeah - that can’t happen.

Might be inviting some of these problems by selling beer in the stadium and I’m sure they knew that when the decision was made to do so, but decided the revenue was worth it.

They are in a championship season and they come out of the woodwork. We traveled like that in 99.
Good point and I would agree

Also agree there were a lot of WVU fans

The problem is that Michigan’s is an arrogant fan base, far different from the other schools.

There were two mid-20s aged college kids that didn’t go to Michigan who were wearing Michigan gear and being obnoxious the entire game. The one kid was vaping the whole game, and I pointed it out to security. They gave the kid a warning the first time and then he got caught in the third quarter for a second time and they had two police escort him out. They also brought their own fireball shooters into the stadium, and I pointed the empty ones out to security. Hopefully they got arrested and are still in jail. This was in NFU, and these kids were one row in front of me. I made sure to yell right near the one kids ear the entire time we were on defense to annoy the hell out of him. Normally I wouldn’t do that, or I would yell away from someone’s face, but in this case I felt it was necessary.

The only time I ever came close to coming to blows was in 97 against Michigan. Michigan fans are the most arrogant dbags I've ever encountered in 40 plus years of going to games.

I had only good interactions with Michigan fans, many of whom made Harbaugh and sign-stealing jokes. I didn’t see any doing anything obnoxious beyond cheering their team.
