Thought the same. Most visiting fans I've ever seen. I park in lot 22. At least half of the lot attendants were wearing MI gear. What's up with that? A lot of Wal Mart Wolverines.I know people are focused on more important things (like 2 pt conversions and 4th down decision making) but it was Disgusting how many Michigan fans were in the stadium yesterday.
I saw somebody throw what appeared to be a full beer can from EJ after a bad call. Forget which one. It went way out onto the field. Ref picked it up.There were a lot of Michigan fans but there were a lot of WVU fans at the whiteout too. There are still 15,000ish tickets available after the 90,000ish season ticket holders are accounted for.
The throwing of things on the field, which I’ve read but about don’t actually see in the videos supposedly showing it, if true, is inexcusable.
As for the rest of it, the crowd was LOUD and amped up the entire game, right up until 24-9. It’s upsetting to read folks throw the fans under the bus; the fans more than did their part to disrupt the Michigan’s offense and give the home team energy to feed off of.
Don’t blame the fans for booing when Franklin decides he no longer wants to try to win anymore in the 4th Qtr, like he also did at Ohio St, and goes for it on 4th and long deep in his own territory in a one score game with plenty of time and timeouts left. (And other boneheaded decisions like it.)
Gotcha. Thx. Yeah - that can’t happen.I saw somebody throw what appeared to be a full beer can from EJ after a bad call. Forget which one. It went way out onto the field. Ref picked it up.
Good point and I would agreeThey are in a championship season and they come out of the woodwork. We traveled like that in 99.
Good point and I would agree
Also agree there were a lot of WVU fans
The problem is that Michigan’s is an arrogant fan base, far different from the other schools
The only time I ever came close to coming to blows was in 97 against Michigan. Michigan fans are the most arrogant dbags I've ever encountered in 40 plus years of going to games.Good point and I would agree
Also agree there were a lot of WVU fans
The problem is that Michigan’s is an arrogant fan base, far different from the other schools.
