Maybe BOB should have had a special teams coach. Bob made the decision to go the season without one. Special teams suffered and lost multiple games because of it.


UVA and Ohio bobcats losses were on bob. Who made the decision to give Derek day 20 carries for 40 yds while zwinak was sitting on the bench with 0 carries? Who had LBs returning punts?

What stop do you want to judge BOb on? This years new england? Houston? Bama? Bama won a title with locksley but none with bob. New england did all their winning without bob

LOL ok...yeah Locksley is a winner. If Metchie and Williams don't tear up their knees in the playoff, that is a Bama title. Bryce Young wins a Heisman under BOB's tutelage throwing for 79 TDs and 12 INTs in his career. Look at what BOB did with Matt freaking McGloin and with Hack. He is really good with QB's. His Houston tenure was mostly playoff seasons, which for that franchise, is impressive.

From an actual coaching and development standpoint, he is easily the most proven and skilled developer of his position that PSU has had on offense in the post-Joe era. You just refuse to acknowledge his successes despite his cantankerous and pain in the a** personality, which I don't deny. BOB gets hired for a reason. You just word salad and throw everything out u can think of about BOB.

The bold explained that. We explained in his press conference what his goal was--he achieved that. He'd obviously take a HC job over a non-HC job and maybe you're confused about the quality of those 2 OC positions.

Didn't JF do this with the USC and possibly FSU flirtation to land his new, ridiculous contract? All coaches have one eye elsewhere, for the most part. But, u know Voltz, he is sensitive for some reason and anti-BOB and pro JF all the way.

Are Alabama and OSU in the NFL? Bob also reached out to Maryland when his was feeling the heat in Houston. BOB wants to be wherever he isn't and once he is there he is miserable again.

Can you imagine Joe leaving Penn State for New England and then taking an offensive coordinator position with Ohio State after his career flames out? I can’t.
