Big 10 question

I can not find what rounds of the tournament are in which session . The
Gopher site has nothing and the Big 10 site has nothing .

I’m going by memory, so anyone feel free to correct me:

Saturday morning, they run:
Round of 16
Quarterfinals.
Round of consy


Saturday evening:
Starts w round of consy
Into Semis.


Sunday is one long session.
Consy
9th & 7th place
10th or 11th place if B1G has allocations for NCAAs that number 10-11.

..... then they take a short break, align with BTN and run 5th, 3rd & title matches all simultaneous on 3 mats.

Session 1
Round of 16 (6 bouts each weight)
Quarters (4 bouts each weight)
Round 1 of wrestle-backs (2 bouts each weight)

Session 2
Semifinals (2 bouts each weight)
Round 2 of wrestle-backs (4 bouts each weight)
Round 3 of wrestle-backs (quarters, 2 bouts each weight)

Session 3
Round 4 of wrestle-backs (semis, 2 bouts each weight)
Placement matches for 3rd, 5th, 7th (3 bouts each weight)
Finals

Can't remember exactly, but thought they did the bonus matches for weight classes with more than 8 slots on Saturday night last year. I remember it was different than the previous year.

The key is to remember that Session 2 on Saturday night begins with a round of wrestlebacks - only then followed by Semifinals.


(Translation - no need to rush from the bar at 6pm )

It's not unique to Minnesota. This happens every year with the BIG tournament.
