I know this hire likely won't and probably shouldn't stay in-house, but the offense has looked much more competent over the last couple games. Plus, Seider and/or Howle should have a better idea of the current and upcoming talent than an outsider would.

The points per game before the firing seems skewed to me. Even while putting up all those points, the offense just didn't look that good overall. I'd be curious what kind of system they would implement - whether it would be similar to what we saw these past 2 weeks or something entirely different.

Im sure many already know, but looks like Sean Lewis is off the table. Apparently set to take the head coaching job at San Diego State.

I am not sure if he was ever an option anyway.
