Horribly?Horribly light and thin at DT across the entire roster
I don't know about thin. We start just 2 and we're 7 deep on the scholarship chart, Sophs to Seniors. We can rotate 5 with 2 extra. DE has a total of 8 Sophs to Seniors. Not much deeper.Horribly light and thin at DT across the entire roster
Last year Michigan didn't punt. That was WITH Mustipher. How is 250 pound Beamon going to stop anything?I don't know about thin. We start just 2 and we're 7 deep on the scholarship chart, Sophs to Seniors. We can rotate 5 with 2 extra. DE has a total of 8 Sophs to Seniors. Not much deeper.
Quality is more important than quantity.
A rest.Horribly?
Okay, you're on record with your grave concerns about the DT position.
Time to give it a rest.
Anyone compare weights of returning players to see if there is any movement? A quick look at returners to me looks almost like they didn't update weights.
All better/improved players on the line and that includes versus Mustipher who was not that good last year. Our linebacker play will be a lot better.Last year Michigan didn't punt. That was WITH Mustipher. How is 250 pound Beamon going to stop anything?
250 pound Beamon was rag dolled last year at 260 pounds...how's that gonna work out this year at 250?All better/improved players on the line and that includes versus Mustipher who was not that good last year. Our linebacker play will be a lot better.
Beamon will probably be around 220 by August 😆 🤣 😂Anyone compare weights of returning players to see if there is any movement? A quick look at returners to me looks almost like they didn't update weights.
How did we possibly beat Michigan in 2017 when they boat raced us in 2016? We shouldn’t even have showed up in 2017.A rest.
Like Michigan's punter last year?
We had a better interior defensive line and they didn't have the o line they have now. Beamon is gonna get rag dolled again this year and the only "upgrade" we got is yet another undersized DT from Old Dominion. How did we possibly beat Michigan in 2017 when they boat raced us in 2016? I wonder if Beamon has some type of issue going on with his metabolism that keeps his weight low?250 pound Beamon was rag dolled last year at 260 pounds...how's that gonna work out this year at 250?
You don't need to single Beamon out. Every linemen that played in that game was man handled. Every single one. Chop had just as bad of a game against the run as Beamon did. It is going to happen again this year not least because we have the worst collection of interior D-linemen we have had in the Big Ten era and completely lack an end capable of setting the edge as a 5 tech without moving a tackle outside. Michigan will continue with the dynamic man blocking scheme constantly shifting where the gaps are and the linebackers will be helpless in Diaz's defense. You can point to an example of what we saw last year against Michigan each and every year Diaz has been a DC.We had a better interior defensive line and they didn't have the o line they have now. Beamon is gonna get rag dolled again this year and the only "upgrade" we got is yet another undersized DT from Old Dominion.
It has to be...no way this kid shrinks every year when they want him bigger.I wonder if Beamon has some type of issue going on with his metabolism that keeps his weight low?
He does? Better let sorry a$$ TCU know.Harbaugh, like it or not, knows better than Day and Franklion that to beat the boys in the south you need beef on LOS.
Now he has to just work on fixing mistakes by his play makers. Here’s hoping he can’t because he’s primed to take over B1G. Day has gone LOS soft and is all in on the QB-WR shootouts ala Big 12.
Make not doubt about it, it the big games Bama, Georgia, LSU, Clemson had the LOS allowing playmakers to do what they do.
Not sure Franklion gets it, yet.
And Ohio St lost bookend OTs and their OC. I say we send pressure nearly every down. https://www.landgrantholyland.com/2...ot-land-a-transfer-offensive-lineman-buckeyesMichigan lost their all conference center, an OT & 2 TEs. This year's line will be good, but not as good as last year.
And yet every one of them this year will outweigh Beamon by 70 pounds.Michigan lost their all conference center, an OT & 2 TEs. This year's line will be good, but not as good as last year.
Ala Big 12 like TCU you mean?Harbaugh, like it or not, knows better than Day and Franklion that to beat the boys in the south you need beef on LOS.

We should just forfeit…no reason to even play the game. And yet every one of them this year will outweigh Beamon by 70 pounds.
