Listen, loss to Temple should never happen, but it did, so let's look at the last 4 years in PSU Football. 5 new coaches (Paterno, Bradley, O'Brien, Johnson, Franklin), NCAA fraudulent sanctions, devastating scholarship reductions, HUGE financial penalties and losses. Somehow we still manage to still have a Top 25 recruiting class during all this turmoil, Still have a winning record, make a Bowl Game the first year eligible. Look at Vandy film, If Franklin can go 9-3 and 9-3 in the SEC with that team, things will get better!!! We should be fortunate that we are competitive, for the most part, and have any resemblance of a solid future with all these things impacting the University and Football Team. Hackenberg is a quality kid and good football player that has lost confidence and needs to step up. The play calling is not working for the players we have, Donovan needs to get creative or they just need to move on from Hackenberg and get the QB in that can run the scheme they are trying to run. I have always said Franklin deserves 3-5 years to fix the last 3 (2012-2014). O'Brien was a savior and we owe him a lot but he was never going to be a figure for the University but is a damn good football coach.
