Tonight my wife and I had to endure the expected Sandusky insults but the crowd around us was brutal. Continuously hurling insults, screaming in our faces, calling us but especially my wife some unflattering names, etc. We had beer spilled on us and on and on. We were miserable and left early in the 4th. I have been to almost 300 games over many years and have never been treated so poorly. We called no attention to ourselves either. I will seriously have to rethink going to any more away games. The lack of respect was over the top. I hope others didn’t get the same treatment. We seemed to be in a particularly bad area. Don’t know if I ever wanted so badly to hold on to a win just to shut them up.
