T Frank on BWI just said it was by far the worst he has seen and he singled out Elsdon. Honestly...if it's gonna be 8-4 or 7-5...then what is the difference? Get the kid Carter on the field and put him at the mike.

This. Jacobs and Carter are athletes. Time to let them learn how to be LBers. So many breakdowns in gap integrity, wrong shoulder, etc.

Someone on 247 posted the still pic from the TD run by Michigan when it was still 17-16. Elsdon is literally 1 yard from the ball carrier at the 50 and doesn't even attempt a tackle or dive for a leg...it was really pathetic and it was one play of maybe 20 in which he and Sutherland were just flat out exposed. It's not an endictment yet but honestly...even Joe said enough was enough back in 2001, and Williams and Benfatti were benched mid-season when Joe put the kids in...they went on to win 5 of the last 7.

you have to remember… this is a coach who played Koa Farmer over Micah Parsons…. Regardless of the results on the field
