With President Biden speaking Thursday evening, what does FOX do?

Contrary to online concerns, President Joe Biden’s speech Thursday night will not impact the broadcast of the Penn State-Purdue football game. The game will kick off at 8 p.m., as will coverage.

The speech could be pretty humorous though. 8pm is way past Joe's bedtime. There will be plenty of comedic moments.

Fox National has not mandated a “level 2 cut in” which would mean the local affiliates had to preempt the game. I was told the likely hood of that changing at this point is minimal and that my affiliate, well out of the PSU backyard, is carrying the game. It isn’t mandated by the network so affiliates won’t preempt the game.
