There have been many disappointments, but anytime we have the chance to win a National Championship and lose tops the list for me. Therefore, the 1986 Orange Bowl when we lost to Oklahoma was #1 for games I've been to. The 2nd was the 1973 game were we lost to Alabama (we were #2 and AL #1, or maybe the reverse) when Cappy was sick and couldn't play. This was the game where JoePa had Guman running up the middle 3 straight times on 1st and goal and Barry Krause & Co. stopped him on all attempts. Lastly, Miami losing to Nebraska the night before our Rose Bowl game with Oregon was a terrible disappointment as well. We would have destroyed Nebraska had we been given the chance!!!
