What are you going to do when you can't afford gasoline?

I know, I know the liberals on this board won't get it, but just think about it. If the average guy can't afford gas what about the farmer? The delivery guy? The parts delivery guy? etc, etc, etc.

We've got a world a shit coming down the pike and it's all on you lefties.

If you voted for Biden, you are an idiot.

Such a silly argument. Gas makes up such a tiny piece of the average persons budget. One less family meal at the Outback a month covers the whole gasoline increase.

I live in a fairly wealthy white Republican town. My towns Facebook page is nothing but Trumptards constantly posting and complaining about gas prices. These are people who are purposely pay $15k to $20k a year in real estate taxes but then cry when they have to pay an extra $10 or $15 to fill up their tank. It’s pretty funny.

Once again, you show how out of touch you are. Make sure you tell your Amazon delivery person this. I hope they smack you up along side your head.

the lower income guy who needs to drive to work is going to be the most impacted. And, when election day comes, they'll still vote democratic

Gas makes up around 20% of many 👪 budgets.

If gas makes up 20% of your budget you are doing something horribly wrong.
Do you get, not everyone is the same? Not everyone has the same advantages? Just how ignorant are you? I can't believe you have kids.

So, all the minorities in Baltimore, they have the same advantages? They're doing something wrong being born into poverty and burned out buildings without a father. Right?

Minorities in Baltimore probably spend zero on gas.

You should stop showing your ignorance, it's pathetic. I guess minorities don't drive in LA either. You live in a White community and you're telling others about life. Lmao. I'm embarrassed for your wife.
This is what they drive in LA.

Back when I was working in the office I spent about $70 to $75 a month on gas. My wife slightly less. Even if gas prices went up 10 times to something like $30 per gallon it could easily be managed.

Restaurants are packed, people have 5 TV subscriptions, buy take out coffee everyday. There is so much fat in the average Americans budget that paying for gas is a matter of shifting priorities.

We know you live in a lily white wealthy town complete with a country club.

You bitch, moan and whine about the poor not being able to afford meat at the end of the month, yet you defend them paying a shit load more to get to work.

You can't get out of your own phucking way.

So no need to increase the minimum wage. Got it. Thanks for your clarification.

Back in the 80's car pooling was popular. Don't really hear much about it lately. It's going to come back.

And all very intentional. The relentless push for green energy is going to put the good guys in power. And in totally unrelated news, power companies are warning everyone this summer will have rolling blackouts.

"Here’s the situation. And when it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it’s over, we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over," Biden said, seeming to justify or praise those sky-high prices Americans face at the pump.

I own a business............ these gas prices hurt ! Getting from point a to b for multiple employees hurts the boss also. High prices for food and housing .........I wonder if I can pay enough for them to live in my overrun real estate speculated town. People on this board like to brag about how rich they are, insulting others who don't make as much . Then there are those that make fun of both sides of their mouths . I can tell you this is hurting middle and lower America hard and the outlook is not looking good at all. Our current administration is indefensible. Way too much of an over reactive progressive myopia right after the world went through a pandemic. Electing a douche like trump had it's fallout : a country so sick of the drama they elected anyone in his place . Action, reaction.

I have said it here many times : we need to somehow find a candidate that can attempt to bring America truly together or we are totally fuked . My personal hope is a strong moderate republican .

The increased cost of gasoline results in a huge increase in everyone’s budget. Increased transportation costs result in increased food costs, for example. Higher oil and gas prices are the primary driver of the rampant inflation we are seeing.

I took the week off to catch up on spring cleaning, chores.. Let me tell you, if Laffy wants to meet elderly widows, go to the damn grocery store any time from 10 to 2 Monday through Thursday. He can chat them up in front of frozen goods section. That's where they hang because, I'm guessing, they don't cook much any more.

It becomes an idea of scale. I drive about 20,000 miles a year. So if you go with 20 miles to the gallon it means I purchase roughly 1,000 gallons of fuel. If fuel is $3.00 a gallon my gas budget is $3,000 per year. If it is $5.00 a gallon it is $5,000 a year. So is an extra $2,000 a year a big impact on my overall budget? Probably not terribly so but it does require me to change things I spend money on.

You aren't thinking beyond the tank. If your gas expense is $5000, up $2000, what about everything else?

Do you go to the grocery store? Buy paper towels, chicken, and canned beans? All of those people are facing distribution increases. Have you seen the price of diesel gas these days?

Do you buy clothes? Dog food? How about tires? If you were NJ I'd ask about child porn.

If delivery costs go up, so does everything else.

And this is why Democrats are to blame. Petulant, thin-skinned, pu$$ies couldn’t handle ‘mean tweets’ in spite of the fact that inflation was low, unemployment was low, gas was low, stock market was high, etc..

You voted for this. Own it.
